It uses widely available easy to obtain materials and two standard single size mattress but can be modified easily to hold extra long mattresses by lengthening the rails or an extra long will fit in the top bed after removing the bookshelf. You can build this set even if you have little or no woodworking experience just using a circular saw, an electric drill, a power sander and a few hand tools.
